£1.5m Cheltenham hotel on the market

A stylish nine bedroom hotel is up for sale in Cheltenham for £1.5m.

Built originally as a private residence in the 1830's, Butlers is a semi-detached house set on Western Road, a wide tree-lined road just six or seven minutes' walk from The Promenade.

The elegant hotel is a very easily run business, with a residents' drawing room, breakfast room seating up to 20 people and a roof terrace.

The bedrooms sleep up to 17 people - with six double/ twin rooms, one single room and two family rooms. All bedrooms come with en suite facilities.

For the owners, there is a recently extended one bed flat, with the option to use the ninth letting bedroom as a second bedroom if needed. There is also a contained garden, which is currently used exclusively by the owners.

Net sales for the year ending March 2019 were £113,551, with one bedroom unused and illness restricting growth of the business.

The hotel is on the market with Colliers International, Bristol.
