Realities of lockdown
How are you coping with the current situation?
1# Days no longer exist
My 5yo stormed out of my office when i told him i had to do a meeting. He was very mad that i couldn't look at his crafts like i did yesterday. I tried to explain that it was Monday and I had to work, and he yelled "Monday isn't real" on the way out. I'm still just sitting here.— Ethics Gradient (@grahamvsworld) March 30, 2020
2# Where do you want to eat?
When we come out of this and I ask you where you want to eat, I do NOT want to hear “I don’t know”. YOU HAD 45 DAYS— Braxton Berrios (@HNYNUT_BERRIOS) March 31, 2020
3# Parenting revenge
My 13 year old doesn’t have to wake up early for school during quarantine so I keep waking her up at 5:15 just to say good morning. I’ve been waiting on this revenge since she was 6.— Simon Holland (@simoncholland) April 1, 2020
4# Two times of day
Days are now divided by coffee hours and alcohol hours, there is no other law— Emily Murnane (@emily_murnane) April 1, 2020
5# Prefer distancing
after social distancing is over i would still prefer it if most people stayed 6 feet away from me— Shafeeq (@Y2SHAF) March 30, 2020
6# Social grandparents
My 89 y/o grandmother, who is isolated at home in CT, just told me she reads the replies to my tweets and then investigates the profiles of people who leave rude replies. So don’t be mean to me or my grandma will judge you.— Ben Conarck (@conarck) March 26, 2020
7# Keeping hands occupied
If you keep a glass of wine in each hand you can’t touch your face— Women Who Love Wine (@wwlwine) March 31, 2020
