Warning to drivers: large convoy looks set to cause tailbacks on roads

Motorists are being warned to expect delays today while three abnormal loads travel through Gloucestershire.

Gloucestershire Police will be escorting three abnormal loads travelling towards Cotswold Airport, near Cirencester, which may cause hold-ups to drivers travelling along the A419 and A429.

The vehicles, which are carrying aircraft parts, will be travelling in convoy either late afternoon or early evening and drivers using the route are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
