Springfest brings Easter fun and excitement to Gloucester Quays from this weekend, April 8

Springfest bursts into life at Gloucester Quays from tomorrow Saturday, April 8, bringing two weeks of fun, thrills and fantastic entertainment for all the family over the Easter holiday until April 23.

A thrilling Adventure Zone, colourful Spring Market, 'Bunny Run' Easter Trail and amazing photo opportunities are just some of the exciting activities for visitors to the rapidly expanding outlet centre.

Springfest will be the longest-running Easter event ever held at Gloucester Quays with more attractions to enjoy than ever before.

The Adventure Zone in Orchard Square is guaranteed to get pulses racing for the adventurous at heart with a High Ropes Climbing Challenge, Thrilling Cave Adventure, Water Balls, Bungee Trampolines and Ninja Assault Course.

These run each day 11am - 5 pm (until 6pm Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday) and a charge of £4 applies except for the Ninja Assault Course which is £3.

For the little ones there will be lawn games with plenty of room for parents to relax with food and drink at a pop-up café-bar.

Gloucester Quays centre manager Matt Bird said: "Springfest will be bigger and longer-lasting than any of our previous Easter events and features two weeks of fashion, fun and adventure.

"There really will be something for everyone at Springfest and it is part of an exciting programme of fantastic events we have lined up here at Gloucester Quays throughout 2017."

Also from April 8-23 there will be a Bunny Run Easter Trail with visitors invited to find the bunny located in different stores around Gloucester Quays with "hidden" letter spelling out a winning sentence. Those who complete the trail will get a chocolate lolly treat and the chance to win a pass for a family of four to Cadbury's World.

For lovers of good food and fabulous craft products, the Easter Weekend Spring Market at Gloucester Quays from April 14 - 17 is an absolute must.

Entry is free and there will be 100 stalls offering everything from plants, flowers, garden gadgets, furniture and hand-crafted jewellery to delicious chocolate, cakes, fine food and drinks.

Many of the eye-catching items are not available on the high street and come from local producers.

There will also be a vintage funfair to enjoy, featuring traditional rides and sideshows, including the ever-popular helter skelter, mini carousel and traditional swing boats.

The Easter Weekend Spring Market is open from 10am - 6pm daily (closing 5pm Easter Sunday) and also features a Spring-themed pop-up mini golf attraction.

Gloucester Quays will be celebrating Spring Fashions with a free "curious garden" installation which will provide a dramatic floral backdrop for the perfect photo opportunity or selfie daily from noon - 4pm. The garden area will also include pop up entertainment and there will be a chance to 'Win A Spring Wardrobe' worth £200 in an exclusive competition.
