Plans lodged to redevelop pub site
22nd March 2017
Yet another former pub in Gloucestershire could be turned into homes.
Plans have been lodged with Stroud District Council to convert the vacant Kites Nest pub on Bath Road in Stroud into three one-bedroomed flats and seven two-bedroomed houses, with room for 10 car parking spaces.
The proposals have been submitted by Town and Country Planning Consultants on behalf of Estrans Developments (Stroud) Limited.
In support of the application, Town and Country Planning Consultants said: "The site is within the urban area of Stroud in a good sustainable location, and comprises previously developed land.
"It is therefore entirely suitable for an urban regeneration proposal as this scheme envisages."
