New restaurant opens at Gloucester Quays

Award-winning Côte Brasserie became the latest restaurant to open at Gloucester Quays today.

The Parisian-style eatery says it will offer relaxed all-day dining using high quality produce at great prices. Classic French dishes with a modern twist will be on offer for lunch and dinner.

Côte will join a host of quality restaurants at Gloucester Quays including Carluccio's, Bill's and Portivo Lounge.

With a £1million investment, Côte's exciting new venue has 112 internal covers, in addition to outdoor seating on High Orchard Street for al fresco dining.

Côte Restaurants CEO, Alex Scrimgeour, says: "Our new Gloucester Quays venue places us right in the heart of the action of this thriving waterfront shopping destination."

It represented a significant investment offering a sophisticated and chic French retreat for a cosy breakfast, lunch or dinner to locals, shoppers and tourists.

The restaurant's general manager Meshach Wilson said today: "It is a great location and it is going to be exciting times for us."

Jason Pullen, Managing Director of Lifestyle Outlets, said: "Our vibrant Leisure Quarter at Gloucester Quays continues to go from strength to strength and the arrival of Côte brings a fresh new offering to our waterfront dining experience.

"Gloucester Quays is a thriving lifestyle destination, welcoming shoppers from across the South West and beyond and, with top names like Ted Baker and Côte joining our offering, it's no surprise that we're now the county's top attraction, drawing more than six million visitors each year.

"As a shopping outlet, we're quite unique in that we offer a full lifestyle experience which includes top fashion and retail at discounted prices, fabulous dining, films, and even a fitness centre. Plus, the beauty of our historic docks location means there is even more to see and do here."

Côte Restaurants currently operate over 80 sites in the UK. Authentic menu favourites include steak frites and moules marinière alongside speciality desserts such as crème caramel and crème brûlée. Côte's comprehensive brunch menu offers a wide range from artisanal bakery goods to more hearty options with freshly ground coffees and juices.
