Hazlewoods tax team win national award

Staff at Hazlewoods, the Gloucestershire based accountants and business advisers, are celebrating after winning one of the most prestigious awards in the accountancy world.

Hazlewoods tax team made it third time lucky, winning the Tolley's Taxation Awards 2017 'Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm', on Thursday 18 May at The London Hilton.

The award recognised Hazlewoods skill in delivering tax advice that has the greatest measurable benefit to clients, demonstrating the high value of quality professional tax advice during the past 12 months.

Nick Haines, Head of Tax at Hazlewoods (pictured receiving the award) said: "I am so incredibly proud of the tax team and all the hard work they put in, which has resulted in this award.

"It is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the great work the team consistently produces. Everyone works tremendously hard to demystify tax for our clients and take the administrative burden away from them. We constantly strive to be the best and winning this award gives the team the recognition they deserve."

The Taxation Awards launched in 2001 and have become recognised as marks of excellence within the tax sector. Hazlewoods were finalists in the Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm Award in both the Tolley's 2015 and 2016 Taxation Awards and managed to go one better, winning the sought after award this year.
