Growing retailer wins award for second year in a row

A leading casual clothing brand in Gloucestershire has retained its title at a prestigious industry awards ceremony.

Weird Fish picked up the Best Multichannel Retailers Business to Consumer Award for the second year in a row at the European Community Ministry of Defence (ECMOD) Direct Commerce Awards in London.

The awards, which have been running for 19 years, spearhead the recognition of business excellence for organisations engaged in direct-to-customer retailing across traditional and newly emerging channels.

Weird Fish managing director John Stockton said: "We are proud to have won this award for the second year running.

"It is important to us to make the shopping experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible for the customer, and it is fantastic to be acknowledged for our achievements."

Weird Fish, which has its headquarters in Cheltenham, had annual sales of between £5million and £15million.
