Flag is being flown half-mast at police HQ

Gloucestershire Police officers and staff are today paying their respects to the victims of the terrorist attack in London.

Today, they observed a minute's silence and the flag at Gloucestershire Police headquarters in Quedgeley is flying at half-mast.

Gloucestershire chief constable Suzette Davenport said: "Our thoughts and condolences are with the families and friends of those who lost their lives as a result of this attack, as well as those that have been affected by this tragic event.

"Our thoughts are especially with the family of PC Keith Palmer who was killed in the line of duty. His bravery resonates across the policing family.

"We also would like to send our best wishes to those who were hurt yesterday and hope for their speedy recovery."
