Do you have what it takes to lead a team?

Applications are being invited from candidates with management and leadership skills to fill the role of Gloucester District Scout Commissioner.

The voluntary position, which is open to all adults, can be carried out on a flexible time basis with a pre-agreed start and finish date.

Gloucester District Scouts said: "You may not have any previous experience of Scouts or may not have been involved for many years: that doesn't matter.

"We are looking for someone who will be able to lead a team of adult volunteers, who has good communication skills and who enjoys working with people of all ages.

"Within this role you have the opportunity to enhance your management skills by taking on a volunteer management role with Scouting in Gloucester."

The organisation is also looking to attract more volunteers to work with its growing membership.

Interested parties are asked to contact Barry Smith at kathandbj@aol.com.
