Deal confirmed amid 'increased appetite for good quality regional investment opportunities'

The sale of a prestigious three-storey office building in Cheltenham has been announced.

ARK Housing Consultancy, advised by Alder King, has completed the freehold disposal of St George's House.

The 3,576 sq ft property (pictured) was sold as an investment to Evesham-based market garden company Samsara Ltd off a guide price of in excess of £200 per square foot.

The end-of-terrace building provides three lower floors of attractive office accommodation with a variety of different sized suites and meeting rooms. The top floor has been converted into a flat.

John Hawkins, associate at Alder King's Gloucester office, said the property had attracted competitive interest from both investors and prospective owner occupiers.

"There is increased appetite for good quality regional investment opportunities," he said. "This property is in a strong location, close to the Promenade and town centre, and also offers growth potential through careful asset management."

The new owner, which is being advised by Alder King, will commence marketing the vacant space in the property following a quick refurbishment.
