26th April 2017
The impressive new flagship Cotswold BMW retail centre next to the A40 on the outskirts of Cheltenham will open on Tuesday May 2.
Less than a mile from junction 11 of the M5 it becomes the new home for the current Cheltenham and Gloucester businesses, representing BMW, MINI and Motorrad.
The company says on its website: "The project has taken much longer than anticipated but we are sure after your first visit you'll understand why and agree we have built a first class facility.
"The new retail centre is located just off Grovefield Way; it We chose the site specifically for its convenience to both Cheltenham and Gloucester; it is less than 3 miles away from the Tewkesbury Road address and less than 9 miles from the Cole Avenue address."
The building's striking pavilion design is four stories high and the first of its type, becoming one of the biggest centres for BMW and MINI in the UK.
There will also be a small selection of beautifully restored classic cars on display, although they are not for sale.
There is a glass atrium that links the BMW and MINI showrooms.
Motorbike customers will find the two storey, stand-alone BMW Motorrad building just across the car park from the main showrooms.
The company website says: "Our amazing new centre was four years in the planning and will have taken more than two years in the making, but we are absolutely thrilled with the results; it represents a huge investment by our shareholders and a genuine commitment to providing the perfect environment for our customers and our staff."
