Avoid the jams: list of roadworks is revealed

Highways England has provided details of roadworks taking place around Gloucestershire.

It said the information "could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances."

"All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible," the agency added.

Roadworks:

M5 junction 10 to junction 11A: structures

Narrow lanes with a contraflow and 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until July 2017.

M5 Gloucester Gateway service area: resurfacing

Southbound exit slip road into service area will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 7 March until 9 March.

M5 junction 11A: resurfacing

Northbound exit slip road will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 7 March until 9 March. Diversion will be signposted.

M5 junction 9 to junction 11: traffic management changes

Southbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 10 March until 6am on 11 March. Diversion will be signposted.

A40 Elmbridge Court Roundabout: construction work

Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in place until September 2017.
