From customer happiness hero to scrum master, a jobs and recruitment specialist has revealed a list of 10 of the most curious-sounding job titles in the UK.
Glassdoor came across the following job titles, as listed by the Independent, among more thousands of more instantly recognisable ones such as bank manager, marketing executive, builder and teacher.
1 Tug Master: Someone who has responsibility for the safe operation of a tug vessel, including the welfare of the crew
2 Accoustics Consultant: an expert in acoustics and vibration measurement and analysis systems
3 Air Cartographer: In charge of creating flight plans and ensuring flight safety standards are met
4 PatrĂ£o: Meaning 'head of the family' in Portuguese, this is the title for a general manager at Nandos
5 Econometrician: Someone who integrates statistics and mathematics into economic analysis
6 Customer Happiness Hero: A member of staff working in a customer service job
7 Genius: Apple Store's name for its trouble-shooting and repair experts
8 Scrum Master: Someone who manages the exchange of information
9 Chemometrician: a specialist mathematical statistics in the design of experiments
10 Calypso Developer: An expert in systems provided by Calypso, which is a big provider of technology solutions for complex financial markets
